How has Young Life impacted you as a staff member?

• As a Young Life staff and a leader, Young Life plays a vital role in my spiritual growth. It shaped me to who I am today and who I will become in the future. Even when I strayed back in 2013, Young Life gave me another chance to serve the Lord by continuing to welcome me and allowing me to serve as a volunteer staff in 2016. This ministry allowed me to be a channel of blessings to kids all over my area. And finally, I am so grateful to have been given the chance to get my kids and husband involved in the ministry.

How has Young Life impacted your community?

• For many years, the locals here in Canjulao have been resistant to any form of spiritual endeavors but when I introduced Young Life to their kids, I thankfully received the full support of the parents in the area. The parents are the ones encouraging their kids to join the activities. The community is blessed with Young Life since we are not only feeding them spiritually but through programs like the Grace Initiative, we are feeding them physically too. The ministry has also become the avenue for the youth to get to know other people and hopefully guide them in building a wonderful community.
