How has Young Life impacted you as a staff member?

• Being with Young Life as a staff member made me realize that this is what God has been calling me to do. Through this work, I am constantly reminded of the urgency of reaching out to young people, especially the young people of today’s generation. It’s extremely important to share to them who Jesus is, and why having a relationship with Him is the best decision one could make. It did not only make me grow in my relationship with Jesus, but I've also been taught to become a more responsible and compassionate person. Through my experiences as staff, I have become a better version of myself.

How has Young Life impacted your community?

• The young people in our community seem to be very distracted with a lot of things, mostly with things that could possibly lead them down the wrong path. So for those that we've already reached out to, Young Life impacted them in ways that would be a positive influence in their lives. A kind of influence that would let them experience a wholesome way of having fun, that could lead them into a relationship with Jesus, teach them new skills, and help them make the right decisions in their life. It is also with the permission and support of the local school principals and teachers that we're able to continue to reach out to young people in our community.
